Beginners:  teaching the conjugation of verbs in the three groups in the present, future, imperfect and perfect tenses.  Use of definite and indefinite articles and of possessive and demonstrative adjectives.  Familiarity with and handling of interrogative adjectives.  Teaching the structure of negative sentences.

Objective:  ability to understand situations in daily life, ability to communicate and express oneself simply and clearly.

Advanced Beginners: developing the student’s basic knowledge.  Mastering verb conjugation in the tenses described above.  Familiarisation with the use of imperfect / perfect tenses.

Objective : ability to express needs and opinions simply.  Describe past events and situations. Explain plans in the future and the indicative

Intermediate: Consolidation of existing knowledge.  Learning the use of the pluperfect and present conditional tenses.  Familiarity with use of the subjunctive through the use of the phrase “il faut que …”

Objective :  Express hypotheses, develop ones opinions, make plans, develop a greater degree of independence.

Advanced:  improving grammatical knowledge and familiarity with verb conjugation, in particular with the past conditional, present and past subjunctive as well as an introduction to the past historic tense.  Mastering spoken texts describing past and current events.

Objective : communicate and express ideas with ease, be clearly understood, argue and debate in a coherent fashion.
